Laguna Beach - a beautiful centre of artist community and a quiet little seaside getaway/destination – happens to be the place of genesis of the Laguna Brotherhood or The Brotherhood of Eternal Love (late years of the swinging sixties and early years of the flower power seventies). Laguna Beach is probably outside USA best known for the MTV TV series Laguna Beach.

It was also their home base. It is an ideal beach vacation destination if you are in search of sun, surf, sand and fun. The beaches have still retained their pristine glory and you can enjoy the marine landscape on the virgin sun kissed beaches with a drink in hand. It boasts of some of the most exquisite beaches in the whole of California in its southern flank.

It is perhaps the crowning glory of the southern region of Orange County of California. It lies 39 km or 24 miles towards the south east of Santa Ana county seat.

Apart from the obvious beaches, the other gems of Laguna beach are the art festivals, world renowned art galleries and exhibitions, entertainment hotspots like restaurants, hotels, unique shops etc.

Because of its scenic beauty it has been the preferred backdrop of many shooting schedules of TV shows and movies. Some of the art festivals in Laguna Beach that has contributed to its wide spread.
